Act It Out! Special Series
Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Location: Children's Story Room, Upper Level
Bitten by the acting bug? Join us for a special series of our reader’s theater program. We’ll prepare skits from a few of our favorite picture books for two special performances to take place on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Open to kids entering grades 2-5.

Enhance Your Natural Beauty
Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: Multicultural Room, Lower Level
Join our guest, Barbara Strampello, licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, as she educates about proper skincare practices used to create a naturally flawless face.

Learn to reverse the effects of sun-damaged skin and how to properly read a label when choosing the ingredients for a good skincare regimen.

Attendees will also learn about specific products and tools as well as simple makeup application techniques to keep skin healthy and young looking, including an amazing non-surgical face lift demonstration!

About the Presenter:
Barbara Strampello, licensed aesthetician, has worked with companies such as Estee lauder, Christian Dior, Elizabeth Arden and Smashbox Cosmetics. As a frequent guest lecturer before community groups and hospitals, Barbara focuses on the importance for specialty cosmetics for those undergoing cancer treatment. She also serves on the board of the Cancer Foundation for Personal Appearance, Inc.
