Community Blood Drive
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Library Conference Center, Lower Level
Blood shortages are occurring all across our region and every two seconds someone needs you!

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive on July 17 at the Cherry Hill Public Library. If you are in good health, at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds, now is the time to roll up your sleeve and donate. In just 15 minutes, you can save up to three lives!

Appointments are available every 15 minutes on July 17 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please call Katie Hardesty at 856-903-1207 to schedule your appointment today.



Strollers
Time: 10:30am - 10:50am
Location: Children's Story Room, Upper Level
Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays, movement and more! Especially designed for young toddlers who are beginning to walk. One child per caregiver please.

Event is Free, but registration is required. Please call 856-903-1229 starting June 15.

Note: This program is similar to Baby Bounce but designed for young children who are beginning to walk. Baby Bounce is for non-walkers.


Baby Bounce
Time: 11:30am - 11:50am
Location: Children's Story Room, Upper Level
Join us for stories, songs, nursery rhymes and more! Enjoy one-on-one time with your pre-walker. One child per caregiver please.

Event is free, but registration is required. Please call 856-903-1229 strting June 16 to register.

Note: We have created an additional program similar to Baby Bounce called Strollers. Strollers is designed for young children who are beginning to walk. Baby Bounce is for non-walkers.


Teen Yoga Class
Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
This event will be held at the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club (1820 Old Cuthbert Road).

Free. Register through the Library's Teen Department, 856-903-1229.




Introduction to the Internet
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: Computer Lab, Lower Level
This hands on class introduces the basics of searching the Web. The class will explore the web browser, various web sites, and an introduction to searching the Internet.

AUDIENCE LEVEL: Adult with PC experience required. Must be able to use mouse and keyboard.

Class is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Please call 856-903-1246 to reserve your spot.


Buzz Off, I’m Reading
Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Location: Children's Story Room, Upper Level
Stop by and enjoy a cool room to lounge and read. Then make a cool treat SUNDAES! For independent readers entering grades 3-5.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.


Sustainable Cherry Hill Community Meeting
Time: 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: Half Conference Center, Lower Level
This meeting will be the first community-wide introduction to Sustainable Cherry Hill, an action-oriented, grassroots organization currently taking shape in the township.

Attendees can expect to learn all about the group, its mission, its method, its community partners, and where its headed in the months to come. Future events will also be spotlighted as well as ways residents can participate in Sustainable Cherry Hill today.
