Lunch and a Movie - Charlie Wilson’s War

Location: Conference Center, Lower Level
Bring your lunch and enjoy a free film at the Cherry Hill Library. All movies begin at 12 noon in the Conference Center. Adults of all ages welcome.

Featuring - Charlie Wilson’s War

About the Movie: This film is based on the true story of Charlie Wilson, an alcoholic womanizer and Texas congressman, who persuaded the CIA to train and arm resistance fighters in Afghanistan to fend off the Soviet Union. This effort was a success but the unintended result was an emboldened and empowered Taliban that still impacts the world to this day. (Rated R; 102 minutes; 2008)

Being Single: Frustration or Empowerment? It’s All a Choice!

Location: Half Conference Center, Lower Level
Explore the who, what, where and how of "BE"ing single from a perspective of self-knowledge, responsibility and choice:

WHO am I?
WHAT do I want in my life?
WHERE can I find it?
HOW can I make it happen?

It’s time to create a new roadmap for your life as a single person. Define the way you currently live and examine the patterns you’ve established. Learn to explore your options to create a life by choice, not default!

At this workshop we’ll also explore the aspects of your life that work for you and those that don’t. Discover how you can make the changes that will allow you to create a life of fulfillment and happiness on your own terms!
